DISTRIBUTION OF ASSISTING DEVICES FOR THE PHYSICALLY DISABLED IN KHAN YOUNIS AND THE MIDDLE AREA

The National Center for Community Rehabilitation distributed assisting devices and medical supplies for a number of 250 physically disabled persons on Sunday and Monday 30/31-12-2012 at the headquarters of the National Center for Community Rehabilitation two branches in each of the Middle Area and Khan Younis.

These devices and supplies included: (wheelchairs, crutches, walkers, air chair mattresses, diapers, bathroom chairs , air bed mattresses, wound dressing materials) with a generous donation from Stichting voor Christelijke Ziekenverzorging in Nederland – Through Kifaia.

It is worth mentioning that the NCCR has been keen to provide utilities for the disabled, if available in order to facilitate their lives and thus reintegrate them into the society . The beneficiaries thanked the NCCR for the efforts undertaken to cover the needs and provide materials for people with disabilities
