AWARENESS ACTIVITIES CONTINUES IN NCCR

The National Center for Community Rehabilitation arranged workshop about  right of people with disability with coordination with university students on Thursday 14/11/2013   for 20 university students.

At the beginning of the workshop, Fatma Alghusein, advocacy program manager,  welcomed the attendants, and explained the activities of the NCCR, focusing  light on the importance of raising awareness of community about issues related to people with disability.

The workshop was about  UN convention of Development and the reality and barriers of development in Gaza Strip.

In the other hand, during the workshop, the relationship between development  and people with disability was discussed in addition to some  recommendation to reintegrate people with disability in the process of development.

At the end of the workshop, Alghusein thanked the attendants for their interests  in the  topic, and participation in changing the negative perception about people with disability.
